Licensed Clinical Social WorkerHudson, NYLMSWs pursuing a LCSW may apply!Non-Exempt position:35 hours per week. $60,000.00 per yearGENERAL PURPOSE OF JOBEvaluate, recommend and implement an individual social work counseling program for individuals seeking services or those already attending Coarc programs; ensure services are provided in accordance with the individual's needs and with the intent of developing independence and choice within the scope of their skills and abilities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESConduct diagnostic assessments for each individual referred for services, in a manner that complies with the regulatory standard for the appropriate program, as needed.Deliver social work services in accordance with regulatory standards and stated recommendations; deliver social work services in the program, residential and/or community settings as appropriate to accomplish objectives or based on the individual's needs; act as consumer advocate promoting the concepts of individualization, inclusion, integration and independence facilitating the individual's progress and satisfaction.Complete all documentation requirements, including those needed for the completion of assessments and monthly program services; submit all documentation within the timeframes required by regulatory and program requirements.Participate in the assessment process for determining an individual's ability to give consent for sexual activity, as requested; complete suicide risk assessments as requested.Instruct and oversee program staff in the methodologies to be used in various settings to ensure consistency as appropriate; work collaboratively with other program staff to ensure the individual's stated goals are being met.Provide collateral services with family members or other service providers to ensure consistency in social work services; provide training to program staff, as requested.Maintain all required certifications and licenses and participate in required training courses established for the position; participate in scheduled staff meetings.REQUIREMENTSMaster's degree in a field related to social work.Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.NYSED Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW).Valid driver's license.Ability to be certified in all required trainings.Occasionally required to lift to 25 pounds.Generous Benefits offered:We have excellent benefits (health, dental vision), paid training and plenty of paid time off.Do you have outstanding student loans, and are you interested in student loan forgiveness?
