This is a full-time position (40 hours) Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm / evenings as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and family therapy, with the potential for group therapy if necessary, within a variety of settings (including community, home, school, residential, etc).
• Demonstrate ability to diagnose and treat children/youth and families
• Depending on level of experience, provide clinical consultation and training to staff
• Act as the primary contact for the service plan with the ability to expertly and succinctly communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling with a valid NYS Professional license.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience working with youth and families with mental health challenges.
• Thorough knowledge of services provided, well developed advocacy skills, knowledge and understanding of payment processes for services.
• Must have a valid drivers license and meet agency driving standards
• Licensed or permit eligible upon hire
• Experience in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy preferred

• Licensed Mental Health Counselor
• Licensed Creative Arts Therapist

Salary: $58,500.00 Minimum Rate per year, $75,570.00 Maximum Rate per year, based on experience.

License/Certification:LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.
