Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of older patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to older patients. Collaborate with healthcare providers, family members, and caregivers to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies. Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions. Stay current with best practices and advancements in CBT and geriatric mental health care.
