Duties and Responsibilities:
* Room patients being seen for medical follow-up and diagnostic evaluations
* Obtain patient vitals and complete other designated nursing responsibilities
* Assist with coordination of diagnostic and medical follow-up clinic flow
* Triage patient phone calls and assist with family resource navigation
* Perform appropriate charting and upload necessary patient-related documents to electronic medical records system with attention to detail
* Complete authorizations, referrals and orders in collaboration with and under direction of diagnostic clinician(s)
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe patient care environment
* Communicate professionally with supervisors, families, and other professionals
* High School Diploma or GED
* Licensed as a practical nurse (LPN) in the state of Missouri
* Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
* Experience working in a pediatric clinic and/or with children with developmental disabilities a plus
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to pass a background check
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Ability to communicate and collaborate professionally with families, staff, students and community partners
