Job Description: Employment TypeFull timeShiftDescription:Night Shift variable schedule 12 hour shiftsOur ED Observation department includes a fast-paced short stay acute unit, admission flex unit and a short stay inpatient unit, all with an expected 24-48-hour length of stay. Our specialties include chest pain, syncope, r/o TIA, CHF, preoperative surgical patients, and medical conditions requiring observational stays. Unit specific specialized training includes IV placement, 12 Lead EKG performance and interpretation, Venipunctures, Point of Care Troponins (POCT), BLS, ACLS, EKG 1 and EKG 2 core classes. Current BLS & CPR certificationsWork Environment And HazardsClinical setting. Exposure Class IPhysical DemandsMedium work: must be able to lift 25 pounds frequently; occasionally lifting maximum of 50 pounds. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
