Medical Health Associates of WNY (MHA) is the largest pediatric group practice in Western New York, and we're looking for dedicated, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. As an LPN with MHA, you'll play an essential role in helping pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients pursue a healthy future by providing top-quality care in an office setting.

This is an on-site position not eligible for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate care and support for our youngest patients and their families.
  • Assist with patient exams, clinical procedures, medication administration, and specimen collection.
  • Support providers in clinical procedures like suturing and catheterizations.
  • Deliver treatments such as nebulizer care and monitor vital signs as needed.
  • Maintain an organized, well-stocked, and clean work environment.
  • Educate and communicate with parents/patients on follow-up care, treatments, and other health-related inquiries.
  • Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, helping to shape the future of patient care.
  • Collaborate with our diverse care team, contributing to a positive, respectful, and professional workplace.

Ideal Candidates Have:

  • A passion for working with infants, children, teens, and young adults.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure with empathy, patience, and understanding.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a team-player mentality.
  • Critical thinking skills and a willingness to learn and grow.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse program.
  • Current NYS Licensure and CPR Certification.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in pediatric, clinical, or office nursing. MEDENT experience a plus.
