Job Responsibilities:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering high-quality resident care in line with the Nurse Practice Act. This role involves safe and therapeutic resident care from admission through discharge in conjunction with physicians, families, and other multi-disciplinary health care professionals. Utilizing the nursing process principles, the LPN plays a vital role in executing delegated care aspects for both residents and their families. The objective is to restore and maintain each resident's maximum mental and physical capabilities. In addition to essential job duties, Licensed Practical Nurses are also expected to perform both essential and non-essential responsibilities in alignment with the mission and values (compassion, excellence, inclusion, integrity, collaboration) of CHI Living Communities. Compliance with all campus, departmental, and safety policies, rules, and regulations is mandatory for all employees.
