Position Overview: We're looking for a clinical therapist to join our team to provide play therapy and other outpatient mental health counseling services for individuals clients at In Bloom Counseling! Therapy services primarily involve treatment of children, adolescents, parents, and/or families.

Reports to: Jessica Bloom, LCPC, RPT-S

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site clinical counseling services to clients of In Bloom Counseling, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain proper licensure and compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics.
  • Respond to clients within 24 business hours.
  • Communicate with a client's treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.
  • Timely completion of written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake bio/psycho/social documentation, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by In Bloom Counseling or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the client within a timely fashion (by Friday of each week). Keep client files accurate and up to date.
  • Charge and collect payments from clients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by In Bloom Counseling.
  • Attend staff meetings and trainings as directed by In Bloom Counseling.
  • Formal and informal collaboration with In Bloom Counseling staff and clinicians regarding case conceptualization, skill refinement, and treatment planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Graduate degree in counseling, therapy, or related field from an accredited university
  • LPC, LCPC, MFT or LMFT preferred
  • Experience working with children or conducting play therapy sessions
  • Available to hold at least a minimum of 20 client sessions per week
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
