We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The successful candidate will specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for older patients, helping them manage and overcome mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment to life changes. The LCSW will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of older patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to older patients. Collaborate with healthcare providers, family members, and caregivers to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies. Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions. Stay current with best practices and advancements in CBT and geriatric mental health care. Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. Current and valid LCSW license in the state of NY. Experience providing CBT, preferably with older adults. Strong understanding of the unique mental health needs of the elderly population. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
