New Canaan will keep just about anyone busy!To learn more about us, click New Canaan Veterinary Hospital!Job DescriptionJob duties include, but are not limited to:Our Veterinary Technicians are responsible for client communications in-person and on the phone, checking in and out appointments, phlebotomy, catheter placement, cystocentesis, fine-needle aspirates, animal restraint, anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, running treatments on our appointments, and stellar patient care! Our ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and excellent customer care skills. You must also be thoughtful, friendly, curious, responsible, punctual, and have a strong desire to learn!Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.Whether you're looking to just be a master of your role or trying to grow into that next career move, you'll have opportunities through a variety of virtual and hands on, interactive training and continuing development.QualificationsWe're looking for:A licensed veterinary technician with 1+ years experience in a clinical settingTop-notch technical skills!Ability to arrive on-time and ready to workComputer skills a must!
