Description:The Licensing Manager is responsible for all aspects of the company's licensing activities. This position works cross functionally with most departments across the organization: Design, Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Regulatory, Sourcing, Operations, Ecommerce, Manufacturing, and Executive Teams to ensure that all Licensed products meet our partners' stringent requirements for design execution, proper channel distribution, and precise sales and royalty payment reporting.Job Duties- Stay informed about new properties and brand opportunities (what's hot and what's not). - Facilitate cross-functional meetings to review potential new brands/opportunities across all business segments. - Properly vet out potential new opportunities with licensor and communicate internally.- Negotiate most favorable terms on new contracts and renewals. - Assist with successfully onboarding new partners and introduce to proper teams.- Responsible for developing and insuring the most accurate and efficient execution of all submissions, reporting, tracking and regulatory functions/processes affiliated with our licensing activities.- Work closely with Sales & Ecommerce to provide accurate forecasts to Licensors.- Manage Licensor adhoc requests.- Collaborate with the Studio and CMO on upcoming entertainment property priorities for product development.- Strive to broaden licensing rights on product types, distribution channels, territories.- Coordinate timely and accurate royalty reporting with Accounting department.- Negotiate the most favorable terms with Licensors or Licensees on behalf of our organization.- Licensor's Brand Ambassador internally, and York Design Group Ambassador to external Licensors.- Some travel required: licensor meetings, tradeshows, and seminars.- Foster and coordinate cross-promotional activities with our licensing partners.- Work closely with Marketing on collaborative launch strategies.- All other duties as assigned by management.Monday - Friday1st shift hours - flexibleAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Experience in licensing or contract negotiationsExperience managing various brands/companiesExcellent customer service skillsForecasting experience a plusBachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant field**NOT LOOKING FOR:creative marketing candidates, accounting candidates**TITLES TO BE CONSIDERED:Buyer, Contracts ManagerExperience Level:Expert Level
