Life Enrichment Assistant - Woodlands at Canterfield : Job Details

The Woodlands at Canterfield, is a vibrant senior living community in West Dundee. It offers assisted living, and memory support. Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community. We are looking for a Life Enrichment Assistant to add to our growing team! This is a part-time position 8 hours a week with possibility to pick up additional hours.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leads or assists with group or one to one activity programs.
• Attends staff meetings and in-service training
• Assists with planning, developing, organizing and implementing the activity calendar and monthly programs.
• Purchases supplies
• Occassional transportation responsibilities

Required skills and qualifications:

• Previous volunteer or paid employment with the elderly
