Life Skills Aide

Primary Purpose:

To assist the teacher establish student self-esteem, socialization, and life skills to maintain a positive relationship between parents and school personnel.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

? High school diploma or GED

? Maintain Educational Aide Certification

? Maintain CPI training/certification

Special Knowledge/Skills:

? Ability to work with children with disabilities

? Desire and ability to work with and communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents

Experience:

? Experience working with students
