The Role
As Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategies to drive major KPIs, including but not limited to: new customer growth, reactivations, retention, incremental revenue, and LTV.
Working closely with a variety of teams including Creative, Customer Experience, Data, and Product, you will develop engaging, automated flows and a campaign-based marketing calendar across email, SMS, and onsite messaging (with future opportunities to support in-app and push notification channels) to drive business objectives. You will analyze campaign performance to identify areas of opportunity and report meaningful insights to key stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.

You're detail oriented and proactive, ensuring all initiatives are executed on time and crafted in service of business objectives. You're customer-obsessed and have successfully grown email/SMS marketing programs in previous roles.
You will...
- Lead the strategy, day-to-day execution & performance of our marketing campaigns across campaigns, triggered flows and transactional programs
- Grow our email & SMS opt-in customer list, building out our preference management capabilities to enable personalization that drives both customer experience and results
- Build, execute, and optimize segmentation and content personalization based on user behavior/ intent, activity data, demographics in Klaviyo, independently and in collaboration with our data team
- Own the campaign/editorial based Lifecycle marketing calendar, with input from cross-functional partners to drive our KPIs
- Ensure connected experience across all lifecycle touchpoints, from deployments to landing experience and on-site pop-ups
- Conduct multivariate testing on various aspects, including but not limited to content, segments, subject lines, landing pages, daypart and device optimization to optimize LTV and retention for our key customer segments
- Manage reporting dashboards, monitor trends, and make recommendations based on results
- Test & QA all outbound messages with keen eye to detail
- Ensure high deliverability of our email and SMS messages (e.g list hygiene, etc)
- Stay current on marketing best practices in email, push and SMS and share insights with the broader marketing team
You have...
- 4+ years experience in email marketing experience from ideation to completion (including setup, segmentation, calendar management, reporting, data analysis)
- Experience working at a DTC brand and/or in a subscription business is a plus
- Experience building, tagging, targeting and QA with ESP programs. Klaviyo experience is a plus
- Analytics experience using data and metrics to measure and optimize program performance (including email metric optimization). Experience with Looker, Google Analytics and SQL is a plus.
- HTML/CSS proficiency and/or experience working with developers, product managers and designers to define and codify automated/ triggered campaigns
- An understanding of compliance regulations (TCPA, CCPA, etc)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Office Guidelines
While we operate in a hybrid-first environment, the office is open and available for all Monday through Friday. Team members are expected to spend at least three days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in-office each week. Our goal is to foster collaboration, connection, and transparency, and we know from experience the important role that in-person time plays in this effort.

NYC Base Salary Range
$90,000-$130,000
