Job Title: Lifeguard

Location: Village of Lisbon, 203 N Market St

Job Description: The Village of Lisbon is seeking qualified individuals for lifeguard positions. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers, providing assistance in emergencies, enforcing pool rules, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. You will also be expected to be vigilant, responsive, and proactive in preventing accidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor swimming areas to ensure the safety of all patrons.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies.
• Perform first aid and CPR as needed.
• Maintain surveillance of pool area and address any safety concerns.
• Ensure that equipment and facilities are clean and well-maintained.

Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain Lifeguard Certification (CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Training). If currently not certified.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
