Lighting Assistant-Seasonal - Univision Communications : Job Details

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a talented Lighting Assistant, to assist the Lighting Directors in lighting productions, including tasks related to electricity.

+ YOUR DAY - DAY:

+ Hang light fixtures

+ Power light fixtures

+ Focus light fixtures

+ Troubleshoot problems such as loss of power or data

+ YOU HAVE:

+ Associates Degree in Television Production or equivalent work experience

+ Working knowledge of computers and Windows operating systems

+ General knowledge of lighting equipment, such as, lighting consoles, lighting fixtures including conventional, LED, and Intelligent Lighting

+ Familiarity with proper safety procedures, such as, use of harnesses and other personal protective equipment; correct use of lifts and lifting techniques

+ Knowledge and understanding of computerized lighting consoles specifically ETC Ion

+ Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred

+ Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

+ Ability to climb a ladder

+ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

+ Must be able to perform work at heights above 30'
