Job Description
LIM is seeking a Securitized Trader who will be focused on monitoring and trading ABS, CMBS and RMBS securities across our separately managed institutional client portfolios.
Primary Responsibilities:
Trade ABS, CMBS and RMBS securities across various strategies of separately managed portfoliosDevelop understanding of the different portfolio mandates, strategies and constraints to determine effective implementation of ideas across portfoliosBuild and maintain relationships with counterparties and issuersInteract closely with other members of the securitized team and portfolio managers to ensure timely and accurate execution of securitized strategyWork with the securitized team to further advancements and improvements in the existing analysis and surveillance frameworkGather and disseminate market and sector information (spreads, issuance, etc.) to investment teamWork with the analytics team to ensure securities have been accurately structured and pricedAssist in the rebalance of portfolios in response to cash flows, benchmark changes, market price movements, and changes in client guidelinesQualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience on a fixed income trading desk with knowledge of/experience with structured products securities a mustStrong analytical skills, including Bloomberg and MS Excel, with an ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentSolid work ethic and organizational skills, coupled with a growth mindset, continuously investing in personal development and improvement of our processesStrong interpersonal and communication skills with experience working in a highly collaborative, team-based, and results-oriented environmentImpeccable integrity, fiduciary mindset, and ability to consistently place the interests of our clients as the number one priorityA Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials, and CFA designation, or progress towards a CFA, is preferredQualified applicants should apply on our website:
