Line Cook - Veselka : Job Details

Seeking experienced, strong line cooks for fast-paced, high-volume, short order service restaurant. Must be able to multi-task, produce dishes consistently according to in-house standards, set-up/break down/maintain station set-ups and inventory, work cleanly and adhere to NYCDOB rules and regulations and be a team player. RESPONSIBILITIESSet up and stock stations with all necessary suppliesPrepare food for service in a high-quality and timely mannerExecute and serve menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffMaintain and breakdown station appropriatelyComply with all safety and sanitation practices and proceduresMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersREQUIREMENTSAt least 2yrs line cook experienceComprehensive understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and proceduresAccuracy and speed in executing assigned tasksFamiliar with industry's best practicesAbility to lift up to 50lbsNYC Food Handler's Certificate and/or ServSafe is a plus
