Valente's Cucina is a boutique Modern European restaurant inspired by the cuisine of the Abruzzo. Born out of the Best of Philly award-winning Valente's Italian Specialties, Cucina brings the quality and caliber of an upscale Philadelphia restaurant to the appealing downtown Haddonfield, located just minutes outside of Philadelphia. Cucina is open for dinner from Wed - Sun with dining room, chef's table, and courtyard seating.

We are looking for a full-time cook with a solid knowledge of refined Italian and modern European cuisines to join our growing staff. If you are a cook who can bring a passion for cooking, solid kitchen skills, demonstrated knowledge of Italian cuisine, and strong plating skills, this is the job for you! Job Description In this position, you will be in charge of prepping, executing, and plating dishes seamlessly and at the same consistently high level. You will be responsible for knowing how to work all stations. Our ideal candidate is reliable, motivated, hard-working, and ready to take the next step forward in their career.

Responsibilities

* Pepare, execute, and plate dishes consistently and flawlessly

* Handle daily prep work

* Operate kitchen activities in a timely manner

* Keep station clean and organized

* Adhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety regulations

* Assist wherever and however else may be needed

Requirements

* A minimum of three years experience in a similar role

* Strong plating abilities

* Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices

* Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: Salary ($35,000.00 - $45,000.00)
