Position: Line Quality Control Technician
Summary: The Line Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing in-process inspection of products ensuring the quality of product throughout production.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follows standard operating procedures and controlled documents as outlined by the IKI Quality Manual
- Verifies the accuracy of raw materials brought to the production line
- Verifies the accuracy of documents filled out by production
- Performs all testing outlined in master work order including in-process production data as well as packaging
- Confirms calibration of all gauges for accuracy
- Works with QA Laboratory Technician to maintain proper calibration of gauges
- Collaborates with mechanics and Production Line Supervisors to immediately communicate any results that are out of specification to ensure production meets all specifications
- Follows proper procedure for alerting others within the IKI Quality Department for disposition of out of specification results
- Drives continuous improvement of testing procedures and documentation to ensure quality is maintained while optimizing efficiency
- Retrieves retained production samples as required by IKI or customer and assists QA Laboratory Technician in management of samples
- Meets deadlines in a timely and accurate manner
- Identifies gaps in process and procedure

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous quality experience in manufacturing, experience in aerosol industry preferred
Physical/Safety Requirements:
- 95% standing, bending and walking
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Hearing and eye protection required in production areas
