Line Technician Part Time - Harnett County, NC : Job Details

An employee in this position performs a variety of skilled duties associated with the safety, operations, maintenance and security of the airport grounds, buildings, operational areas, facilities and equipment. This includes tact and diplomacy when in contact with pilots, corporate and business executives, the public, employees and local officials and members of the Jetport Committee Board. Semi-skilled work abilities related to the needs of clients and airport facilities; performs routine checks of the airport and is responsible for guiding, towing, parking, greeting and organizing aircraft that arrive and/or depart from the airport gate or ramp. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Takes service orders; refuels aircraft observing safety regulations in servicing work.
