Line Worker A - TOWN OF BEDFORD : Job Details

Line Worker A: Performs complex technical work under general supervision. Participates in the installation, maintenance and repair of electric transmission and distribution systems and related facilities. Must be able to work closely with other line crew members. Works in a culture dedicated to total safety within the organization and other crew members. This is heavy work requiring the exertion of 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Required: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and extensive experience in the construction and repair of electrical systems. Candidate must have valid VA driver's license with CDL A endorsement, possession of or ability to earn appropriate flagging and CPR certificate. Journeyman card or equivalent credentials or ability to earn these qualifications within one year. Salary range up to $67,605.00 - $82,478.00 annually plus on-call and overtime pay.
