Discover a more connected Telecommunications Lineman careerAt Lambert's Cable Splicing, as a Lineman I Telecom, you'll install and repair aerial telecommunications fiber and copper cables.Connecting you to great benefitsWeekly PaychecksPaid Time Off, Parental Leave, and HolidaysInsurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance)401(k) w/ Company MatchStock Purchase PlanEducation ReimbursementLegal InsuranceDiscounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and much more!Company vehicle and gas card (Based on job function)What you'll do as a Lineman I TelecomYou will install and repair aerial telecommunications cableYou will safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more.You will safely operate mechanized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derrick, excavators, and more.You will direct traffic flow in accordance with local DOT guidelines.You will safely work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders.You will work in multiple locations.You will travel to multiple locations.You will maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies.What you'll needTo be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyYou have a valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experienceYou have previous construction experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry.You have knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques.You have the ability to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck and work aloft and climb poles up to 40 feet.You are able to perform all duties in telecommunications construction (such as pole transfers, maintenance builds, new build, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction).You have the ability to set up & maintain safe work areas.You are able to work in all weather conditions.Additional qualifications (if applicable)Class A CDL licensePhysical abilities & exposuresRoutinely: lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs as needed with or without assistance.Occasionally: stoop, bend, lift, climb, and work outside.Why work with usYour career here is more than just a job â it's your pathway to opportunity.
