Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $28.03 - $29.05. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
What you will be doing
Linen Aide
5:30am-1:45pm
Rotating Weekends/Holidays
In this role you will work effectively with staff and vendors in coordinating the linen distribution and soil collection program for HSS and its off-site affiliates. Other duties will include maintaining the clean and soiled weight manifests and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the linen rooms.
The qualified candidate will be an experienced Linen Aide, who is familiar with linen distribution standards. You must also possess an understanding of basic concepts related to inventory management, maintenance of par levels, and soil collection procedures. Knowledge of the HSS IPA Scrub and Linen Management systems, as well as proficiency with computer programs used for data management and inventory control are essential.
HS Diploma or equivalent coupled with previous linen experience, excellent communication skills, computer skills and a customer service orientation, is required.
