Currently have an opening with our legal client for a Litigation Legal Assistant to support legal team with foreclosure litigation. The ideal candidate will have a background in litigation support and possess strong data entry, proofreading, and document editing skills. Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys in foreclosure litigation cases.
- Assist with document preparation, including proofreading, editing, and ensuring accuracy.
- Perform data entry and maintain legal files, ensuring proper documentation and organization.
- Support the litigation process by managing case files, preparing case materials, and coordinating schedules.
- Liaise with clients, courts, and other external parties as needed.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Previous litigation experience required, with a focus on foreclosure litigation highly preferred.
- High school diploma is required; further education is a plus.
- Prior experience in a law firm, title, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and/or mortgage banking is a plus, but not required.
- Strong proficiency in data entry and document management.
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills, with high attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
