Bilingual Paralegal (English/Spanish) Position at J.R. Wyatt Law

Position Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented, bilingual paralegal to support our attorneys in managing complex personal injury and civil rights cases. The ideal candidate will be passionate about justice and eager to grow within a collegial, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage case files and maintain detailed documentation in both English and Spanish
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting correspondence and legal documents
- Serve as a liaison between Spanish-speaking clients and attorneys
- Coordinate with clients, courts, and other parties to ensure smooth case progression
- Maintain case management systems and filing systems
- Support discovery processes and trial preparation
- Schedule depositions, meetings, and court appearances
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Minimum one year of paralegal experience
- Experience with case management software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SmartAdvocate or similar case management system
- Background in personal injury or civil rights litigation
- Knowledge of medical terminology
