Live-in Caregiver - Compassionate Support for Seniors - Home Instead Senior Care : Job Details

By providing in-home services, you will play a vital role in helping seniors maintain their dignity and independence.

As a CAREGiver, you will work 24-hour shifts from 9 am to 9 am, with sleep/downtime included. Did you know that working just three shifts a week can lead to earnings of up to $44,000 per year? Shift wages range from $280.00 to $300.00, making it a rewarding opportunity for those looking to make a difference.

CAREGiver Responsibilities Include:

• Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful conversations
• Assisting with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Reminding clients about medication and appointments
• Offering personal care (dressing, bathing, toileting, and incontinence assistance)
• Caring for individuals with Alzheimer's or other memory-related conditions
• Providing transportation when needed
• Working on a 24-hour live-in shift schedule

*Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but all necessary skills training will be provided by Home Instead.*

Requirements to Become a CAREGiver:

• Demonstrate dignity and respect in caring for seniors and their homes
• Communicate effectively and warmly with clients
• Pass a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen
• Hold a valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
• Maintain current auto insurance
