Job OverviewThis is a live in position. Compensation is 140 per/day. The caregiver will be provide their own living space as part of the agreement. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. This role involves working closely with the client, to ensure their daily needs are met in a respectful and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong caregiving skills, be attentive to patient monitoring, and have experience in direct support role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to client in daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and care provided, adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with the office staff and RN to develop personalized care plans.
• Ensure a clean and safe living environment for the client by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred.
• CPR certification: training may be provided for qualified candidates.
• Level II background check.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
