Livestock Handler 1st shift - Johnsonville, LLC : Job Details

The successful candidate will be able to unload sows from trucks, move and handle livestock within the barn and pen areas, identify and monitor truck conditions, and track sow loads in SAP. Responsibilities: Proper Humane Animal Handling is critical to this position. A successful candidate will understand that the animals always need to be treated with respect. The use of raddle paddles to move animals is required Ability to perform responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner Must comply with GM - Ps (Good Manufacturing Practices), USDA regulations and safety rules always Unloading of animal trucks Good verbal communication skills Good decision making and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Experience: A general understanding of animal behavior required Past Animal Handling experience strongly preferred Excellent attendance and performance record required General compute...Handler, 1st Shift, Skills, Manufacturing, Animal
