Additionally, the loading dock is responsible to for unloading windows and doors from other customer locations, moving windows from production lines to loading dock, and staging windows in proper lanes for loading. The specialist role is expected to be able to complete all jobs within the staging and loading areas of the shipping department.Hand load windows and doors onto trailers according to manifest and consistently to the quality and safety standards establishedUnload windows and doors and stage in correct locations on dock according to the quality and safety standards establishedAbility to load or unload trailers at rate of 150 cube/hour or greater according to the quality and safety standardsUtilize tugger, when necessary, to pull windows and doors from production lines and place carts in the proper staging lanes. Scan windows to correct staging lane upon deliveryMust be certified on PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) and TuggersWilling and able to train new hires on all aspects of loading/unloading trailers consistent with the quality and safety standards establishedMust be able to present T2 board, understanding the metrics and issues to convey to the team (and T4 group if needed)Displays the capability to trouble shoot issues that occur on the dock (MIA material, quality concerns, etc...)Act as backup to dock lead when required including the completion of load audits, closing of manifests per standard work, update of PvA board, and other tasks as assignedMust be able to adhere to, and display examples of Cornerstone Core ValuesActively participate in the safety culture, including adherence to STOP, CALL, WAIT, through hazard recognition/elimination and completion of at least 2 BBS audits per periodMust adhere to and actively support departmental 5S initiativesMust adhere to Cornerstone attendance guidelines -- Must not have any Written Warnings (attendance or performance)QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED)A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environmentA minimum of one (1) year forklift operationOverhead crane experience a plusAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shou:::
