* JOB SUMMARY
The loader is responsible for ensuring trucks are loaded correctly in a timely manner. Making sure all items (windows) are properly scanned before loading into the truck. This position requires accuracy in loading and complying with shipper documentation. The loader follows warehouse instructions in building loads, limiting all damage if possible. Making sure that all windows are loaded complete and well blocked for securing during transit.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Comply with Westlake Safety Policies
* Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility
* Provide safety leadership in promoting and creating a zero-injury safety culture.
* Load windows for shipment when trailers are available.
* Track and load product on paperwork while loading and insuring correct shipment of windows.
* Report any damaged window to the Supervisor or Lead immediately.
* Perform work in a safe and timely manner.
* Ensure truck trailers are checked before loading or unloading.
* Maintain housekeeping of shipping floor.
* Strict attention to order accuracy with respect to loading outgoing trucks.
* Manually lift and move the window to the belonging truck.
* Other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Lead.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
* High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
* Manufacturing/Warehouse 1 year (Preferred)
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee should possess the ability to:
* Be exposed to temperature extremes inside or out.
* Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable.
* Prolong standing for up to 12 hours performing shift work or in a stationary position.
* Complete repetitive movements.
* Bend or twist.
* Wear all the required personal protective equipment.
* Work in constant noise above 85 decibels.
* Handle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls.
* Lift/move up to 50 pounds.
* Remove or replace items up to 50 pounds.
* Ascend or descend stairs.
