Loader Operator - Jones Companies : Job Details

**Overview**

In an effort to support our growth at Jones Lumber Company, we have decided to put Job Descriptions in place to help manage all sawmill locations. On behalf of Jones Lumber and all site supervisors, we have worked together to define each Job Description. There will be a production foreman, a yard foreman, and a mechanical foreman at each location in which all lower level employees role up to. Each Employee will be responsible for, and not limited to, the following list of requirements and responsibilities. It requires each of us to fulfill our roles to the best of our abilities to keep Jones Lumber Company in operation. As the company continues to grow, we will be expanding into new products, along with better production methods on existing products.

The Loader Operator will be invested in Jones Lumber Company. The Employee will be bought into the safety culture.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**

* Full Ownership of Machine

* Excellent communication with foremen

* Perform weekly Preventative Maintenance on Machine

* Clean up Equipment Daily

* Ability to Crosstrain on different Loader Jobs

* Daily Log

* Support Operations in anyway to keep efficiency high

* Follow Instructions

* Knowledge of all Products

The Loader Operator will have several responsibilities on location. They should take full ownership of his position.
