Loader/Unloader - Freight Daily : Job Details

Position Overview:We are looking for a dependable and energetic Loader/Unloader to assist with the efficient movement of parcels within our warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading shipments, ensuring items are handled safely, and contributing to the smooth operation of our logistics process.Key Responsibilities:

• Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Parcel Sorting: Organize and distribute parcels to designated areas in the warehouse for further processing or storage.
• Quality Checks: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues to supervisors.
• Equipment Operation: Use pallet jacks, dollies, or other equipment to move heavy or bulky items safely and efficiently.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to meet daily goals and deadlines.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and hazard-free work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in loading/unloading or a warehouse environment is a plus but not required.
• Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to handling items carefully.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
