TransForce is hiring full-time Yard Switchers in Lincoln, AL. Earn $20.69/hour plus overtime after 40 hours, with steady hours and excellent benefits. This is a great opportunity for CDL A and non-CDL drivers who can pass a road test.

Position Highlights:
  • Pay: $20.69/hour (includes $0.75 shift differential)
  • Earnings: Up to $1,100 per week
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday (Saturday shifts as needed based on plant production)
  • Hours: 43-50 hours per week (OT after 40 hours)
  • Work Type: Yard switcher (contained to the yard, no road driving)
  • Freight: Automotive parts (located at the Honda plant)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Trailer Movement: Move 60-80 trailers per shift within the yard using a yard truck
  • No-Touch Freight: No loading or unloading required
  • Safety & Compliance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard equipment and maintain compliance with safety regulations
Requirements:
  • License:
  • CDL A preferred, but non-CDL drivers may qualify if they pass a road test
  • Experience: Previous yard switcher experience preferred but not required
  • Equipment: Ability to operate yard trucks with automatic transmissions
  • Availability: Willingness to work Monday - Friday with Saturday shifts as needed
