Local Contract - Cath Lab Technician - Healthcare Staffing Plus : Job Details

Compensation : $46.31 - $46.31 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : ASC-6683|AH-HHC-68181 Start Date : 10/15/2023 End Date : 01/20/2024 40 hours; BLS, ACLS; RCIS certification preferred; varying start time of 0630-0830 and end times of 1500-1700 M-F; Call: 1-2 weekday evenings per week, 1 weekend per month; Holidays: covered by call; Prior experience in cath lab required. Will need to help cover CSM Ozaukee site when needed; may need to float to other Ascension sites within 40 miles if needed. Department: Cardiac Cath Labs Anc Shift timings: Early Morning Shift 06:30 - 15:00 Hours Monday to Friday 5 days 9 hours shiftRoles & Responsibilities

• Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
• Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
• Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies.
• Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current Cardiac Cath Lab Technican experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited Cardiac Cath Lab Technician program
• Active unencumbered Cardiac Cath Lab Technician state license
• One year of Epic experience
