Clinical Documentation Specialist RN – Pomona, CA***Initial onsite orientation required******For Traveler: Stipend and pay negotiable***🕒 Schedule: 5x8 Days (07:30 - 16:00, flexible start as early as 6 AM PST)Requirements:✔ Licensure: RN, LVN, IMG/FMG✔ 3-5 years of Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) experience (Nursing, Coding, or UM experience does not qualify)✔ Proficiency in Power Chart (Cerner), 3M 360, Midas✔ Experience with APR and MS DRG methodology, DRG denials, appeal writing✔ Strong background in Trauma, NICU, Obstetric Service Lines preferred✔ HCC Knowledge and risk adjustment methodologies (Vizient, Elixhauser)Job Role:🔹 Conduct clinical documentation validation reviews (concurrent & retrospective)🔹 Analyze clinical health records and physician queries🔹 Identify documentation gaps to optimize DRG assignment and patient risk profiles🔹 Support DRG denial/appeal process and internal claim validations🔹 Collaborate with clinical documentation specialists and physician leadership
