Job Title: Local Contract - Registered Nurse - Home Health Number of positions: 1 Years of experience: One to three years Shift: Night shifts- 36 hours Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 04/14/2024 Hourly pay: $47.17 OT: 1.5 Weekly Pay: $1,698.12 JOB DESCRIPTIONSummaryDepartment: Home Health Certified Shift Timings: 08:00-16:30 Hours Monday to Friday (5 Days/8 Hours) Per Week: 40 Hours Weekend and weekday call rotation. Weekends are apprx. every 4th/ 5th. Weekday call approx. 1/week Experience - Mental Health Roles & Responsibilities

• Provides individualized nursing care/assessments at the home/residence of the client diagnosed with acute, chronic and complex conditions.
• Administering medication to patients.
• Creating reports to track the patients' progress.
• Working with other professionals to create treatment plans.
• Cleaning and re-dressing wounds if needed.
• Measuring vital signs.
• Monitoring changes in behavior and progress.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Home Health experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered RN Iowa state license
• One year of Cerner experience
