JOB SUMMARYThe Local Number Portability Specialist will be responsible for port requests from CallTower's existing customer base. This position processes all LNP and new number requests from CallTower's partners and customers. The Local Number Portability Specialist is responsible for working with customers through port submission, reject resolution and final port activation. This position's main responsibility is to ensure all port orders are submitted accurately, that port orders are tracked, and that any issues that may impact FOC (Firm Order Commitment dates) are addressed.________________________________________ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES•Reviews all port and new number orders from partners or customers for accuracy.•Obtains LOA, Bill Copies, CSR (if available), and other required documentation to assist with port request.•If CSR is available, verifies and validates CSRs to ensure all of the numbers to be ported are reflected.•Prepares Number Porting and New Number orders utilizing CallTower internal systems and interfaces.•Monitors submitted Port orders to ensure Firm Order Confirmation (FOC) is received within requested timeframes.•Manages customer expectations on timelines and processes throughout the porting process.•Resolves order rejects with customer in a timely manner and escalates as needed.•Works with other technical groups to facilitate number activation.•Works with customers and partners to resolve errors with the port orders, such as address mismatch, name mismatch, vendors, etc.•Processes and updates numbers in customer's account through CallTower Connect provisioning platform.•Reviews port requests daily for accuracy and to ensure timelines are being met, if timelines are in jeopardy sets expectations with customers and escalates to appropriate parties.•Other duties as assigned by management_______________________________________EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS•Bachelor's degree strongly preferred•2+ years or more direct experience processing Telecom orders such as DA, 911, and/or purchasing, back office/general office or Customer Service are required.•Basic knowledge of switching technologies and routing.•Proficient in MS Software applications, specifically Excel, Word, and Access•Exhibits a strong level of initiative and resourcefulness.•Excellent organizational and communication skills, including written and verbal.•Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects and tasks.•Ability to interact with members of cross-functional teams._______________________________________BENEFITS· Annual Market comp evaluation· 85% employer paid Medical plans (HDHP and PPO options)· Dental/Vision· PTO accrual starts day one· 100% 401k match on first 4%· Paid Parental Leave· 100% Employer paid life insurance, LTD, EAP, telehealth, Gym Pass· Hybrid working schedule· Paid education
