A corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.Visit some of southern Washington's main attractions like Mount Rainer, Seattle Aquarium, or Olympic National Park!The position is for a provider working Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, with no weekends or on-call duties. The case load is 5-8 adult male patients, using a paper EMR system. Required certifications include Internal or Family Medicine, BLS, WA license, DEA, and COVID vaccination. Responsibilities include managing injuries, acute illnesses, and minor procedures. Preference is for a PA, and credentialing takes 1-2 weeks. Experience with psychiatry and sutures/injections is preferred but not required.
