This role involves working with our nation's Veterans and requires providers to have their own office within 50 miles of specified locations. - Options to travel and perform exams at leased facilities or schedule Veterans within your own practice- One-time, non-treatment exams with a focus on interviews and some physical assessments- Requires use of a goniometer and familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular assessments- Opportunity for quick credentialing onboarding and potential for DMA certification with CME credits (provider is responsible for associated fees)- Completion and submission of Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours after exams, with no narrative report required- Record review and regular administrative follow-up work will be necessary- Initial training provided for reporting/DBQs, with a 2-3 hour pre-employment preparatory (PEP) session required via Zoom or Microsoft Teams- Opportunity to expand availability and lift scheduling restrictions based on performance- Possible travel to other areas to assist with cases may be offered, with expenses reimbursed per guidelinesProviders must be committed to supporting Veterans and maintain the flexibility to accommodate travel if needed.
