Job Title: Locum Tenens Physician Job Specialty: Internal Medicine - Cardiology Job Duration: Ongoing from February 1st, 2025 Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday Guaranteed Hours: 8 Experience: Not specified License: Active CA license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and other required certifications Must-Have: Minimum Board Certification Eligible Job Description:- Seeking two physicians to provide noninvasive cardiology services.- Clinic hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call duties 1-2 weeks per month.- Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in internal medicine with a specialty in cardiology.- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days.- Facility trauma level is 3.- Must have experience and proficiency in: - Outpatient and inpatient cardiology - ICU care - Non-invasive cardiology techniques - Echocardiography and TEE (Transesophageal Echo) - Nuclear cardiology procedures (Cardiolyte, thallium, etc.) - STEMI management (preferred) - Cardiac catheterization - Responsibilities include managing 18-20 patient encounters per shift.- Facility does not require invasive cardiology skills such as interventional procedures or permanent device placements.This is a unique opportunity for physicians to work in a supportive environment focused on patient care and professional growth.
