Job Title: CardiologistJob Specialty: CardiologyJob Duration: 13 monthsShift: Days M-F 8a-5pGuaranteed Hours: Not specifiedExperience: Not specifiedLicense: Active Massachusetts license highly preferred (willing to accept providers who need to obtain a license)Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), Board CertifiedMust-Have: COVID vaccination, clean background for quick credentialingJob Description:- Seeking a Cardiologist for a mostly outpatient setting with occasional inpatient consult requests.- Responsibilities include performing Transesophageal Echocardiography, Electrical Cardioversions, and Electrocardiograms (EKGs).- Coverage requirement is 2 weeks per month, with no on-call or weekend duties.- Average clinic patient load of 10-13 per day, comprised of a mix of new patients and follow-ups.- Collaborate within a group of 8 cardiologists, with other cardiologists present during coverage.- Supervised by and working alongside 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP).- Patient demographic consists of adult and geriatric populations.- Documentation using the Meditech Expanse EMR system.- Travel accommodations such as flight, hotel, and rental car will be reimbursed by the facility.
