**Job Title:** Locum Physician**Job Specialty:** Cardiology - Non-Invasive**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Varied, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Not specified**License:** Ohio license (or willingness to obtain)**Certifications:** - ACLS- BLS- Board Certified in Cardiology**Must-Have:** - Board Certification in Cardiology- Valid Ohio License or willingness to obtain- ACLS and BLS Certifications**Job Description:**- Practice setting is inpatient with call duties.- The position is to cover for a retiring provider, leading to a shortfall in staff across four sites.- Call ratio includes weekend call 1-2 weekends a month, and possibly 1-2 calls per week when not on a call weekend.- The focus is on inpatient care only.- Variable inpatient admissions per day.- Level 1 trauma designation.- Facilities include over 50 ICU beds.- Work alongside a team of seven other cardiologists.- Patient age demographic is 18 and up.- Utilize EPIC for documentation and EMR.- Required procedures include treadmill stress tests, electrical cardioversions, transesophageal echocardiography, echocardiography, electrocardiograms (EKGs), chemical stress tests, and potentially MRI/CT reads.- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 30-90 days.- Lodging and travel reimbursements adhere to standard/economy rates.
