Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Cardiology in Richmond, VA - AAS Locum Tenens : Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Invasive Interventional Cardiology Physician to provide STEMI call coverage in Richmond, Virginia. This locum tenens position requires intermittent monthly coverage, with 24-hour shifts, including weekend coverage. The physician will be on call for 24 hours each day, responding to STEMI alerts and providing necessary interventions. The primary responsibility of the Invasive Interventional Cardiologist is to provide expert care for STEMI patients. This includes performing diagnostic angiography, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and managing cardiac emergencies. The physician will work closely with the cardiology team to ensure the best patient outcomes, ensuring timely and accurate treatment for STEMI cases.Requirements:

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Active Virginia medical license required.
• Previous experience handling STEMI cases and performing interventional cardiology procedures.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Ability to work independently during shifts.
