Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Family Practice in Missouri - Cynet locums : Job Details

**Job Title:** Physician - Urgent Care**Job Specialty:** Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Day - 3x12 - 7 am - 7 pm, 36 Hours**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Residency trained and board certified/eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds**License:** Active license required**Certifications:** BLS (must be current and from the American Heart Association)**Must-Have:**- Willingness to work in Springfield, MO, or Joplin, MO centers- Proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months- Comfort with minor procedures (suturing, casts, splints, etc.)- Ability to read EKGs and X-rays- Experience with EMR, with Epic experience being a plus- Willingness to work with medical assistants, scribes, and radiology technicians as support staff**Job Description:**- Up to 14 shifts per month, with preference for candidates able to cover a significant number of shifts- Willingness to work weekdays and weekends - Flexibility to work up to 12-hour shifts, with ongoing assignments- Coverage required for multiple centers throughout Springfield and Joplin, MO - Performing procedures such as suturing, wound care, I&Ds, and splinting- Managing patient encounters from 6 months and up for urgent care needs- Utilizing onsite lab and mobile x-ray facilities- Ensuring comfortable and efficient usage of EMR systems- Providing quality patient care in a state-of-the-art urgent care setting
