**Job Title:** Locum Gastroenterology Hospitalist**Job Specialty:** Gastroenterology**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** 24-hour call, every other week (Friday 7 am - Friday 7 am)**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Not specified**License:** Active state license**Certifications:** Board Certified Gastroenterology or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years of fellowship completion with Board Certification in Internal Medicine)**Must-Have:** - Ability to perform ERCP- Clean malpractice/background- Active state DEA**Job Description:** - Provide locum call coverage at two healthcare facilities concurrently. - Handle average daily patient census of 15-25, with ER calls/consults averaging 10-12 in 24 hours. - Manage 4-5 daily consults from admitted patients. - Conduct 5-8 daily procedures on inpatients, including 1-2 ERCPs per day. - Collaborate with anesthesia support staff for procedural sedation. - Hospitalists admit patients; you will manage inpatient procedures and consults. - Credentialing timeframe is 30-60 days, with potential work extending beyond 13-week duration based on performance. - Call handled concurrently at multiple facilities.
