Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Gastroenterology in Harrisburg, PA - Austin Major Group : Job Details

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to provide 24/7 GI call coverage across three hospitals in Pennsylvania. This opportunity requires a minimum availability of 7 days per month with 14 shifts per month available.

• Schedule: 24-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 7:30 AM), with on-site duties during the day and night call coverage (30-minute response time).
• Typical Caseload:
  • Adult: 95% | Pediatrics: 5%
  • Procedures: Colonoscopies, EGDs, PEGs, Esophageal Varices & Stenting, and ERCPs.
  • Average Admissions while on call: 7
• EMR System: EPIC

• Board Status: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Licensure: Pennsylvania license preferred; candidates needing licensure will be considered.
• Certifications: BLS, DEA.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years required.
