**Job Title:** Physician**Job Specialty:** Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine**Job Duration:** 13 months**Shift:** Days, PRN**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Not specified**License:** State Licensure Required (e.g., Missouri)**Certifications:** Board Certified**Must-Have:** - Own personal laptop (NO MAC products)- Active and unrestricted full license- Willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions**Job Description:**- Perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams.- Must be Board Certified in specialties such as Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PMR (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation).- Exams will primarily be interview-based with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.- Conduct one-time, non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments.- No prescribing or treatment is involved.- Responsible for submitting Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours of exam completion.- Record review may be required in most cases.- Follow-up administrative work will be required, including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics.- Training is provided for all reporting/DBQs.- Use of a Goniometer is required.- Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio topics is beneficial.- Quick credentialing onboarding process with opportunity for DMA certification (continuing medical education credits available).- Tasks may include evaluating traumatic brain injury as well as general medical exams.- Option to work on both half-day (4 hours) and full-day (8 hours) shifts.- Upon becoming established, if open to it, potential travel to assist in other areas may be requested, with travel expenses reimbursed per guidelines.
