**Job Title:** Physician**Job Specialty:** General Medicine**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Days PRN - as needed basis**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Minimum years of experience not specified**License:** Active and unrestricted full license**Certifications:** Board Certified **Must-Have:**- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions- Owns a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products)- Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified- Current ECFMG certificate if education was completed in a different country**Job Description:**- Perform Compensation and Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.- Work with veterans to provide medical evaluations as part of a government contract.- Two options for coverage: travel to perform exams at company-leased facilities or schedule veterans within your own practice.- Flexible work options allowing for half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) schedules.- Conduct non-treatment examinations, primarily interview-based with some physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.- No prescribing or treatment required.- Use of a goniometer is necessary.- Must be familiar with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardio conditions.- Quick credentialing and onboarding process.- Training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).- Evaluations to be completed through the provider portal.- Administrative follow-up work such as addendums, medical opinions, and reviewing diagnostics is required regularly.- Participation in a preparatory session/training before starting with a Report Analyst to navigate the online secure web portal.- Once established, there may be opportunities to travel to assist in other areas, with travel expenses reimbursed per company guidelines.
