A healthcare facility in Boise, ID, is seeking a Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician to provide specialized surgical care. This position includes 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM, with weekend and on-call requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience performing complex cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures in a high-acuity environment.The Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician will be responsible for performing a wide range of advanced procedures, including adult cardiac surgery, general thoracic surgery, and aortic dissection repair. Additional responsibilities include coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), tube thoracostomy, and pericardial window procedures. The physician will also manage thoracotomy, lung resections, pneumonectomy, heart valve repair/replacement surgeries, and dissections.This role also requires expertise in the placement of VA (veno-arterial) and VV (veno-venous) ECMO. The physician will oversee critical patient care, manage post-operative cases, and ensure thorough and accurate documentation within the hospital's electronic medical record system.Requirements:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certification.
- Active Idaho medical license or eligibility for IMLC
